The September Issue is always one of the important issues in the Fashion world. It becomes a bible as the new calender for fashion starts. Now people are saying Beyonce is the first Black female on the cover, She's one of 3 black females ever etc. Lets clear up a few things. When They say first ever they mean first African American Artist to be featured on the cover of  September Issue. She is also the third African American solo woman to be on the cover. Scroll below to see Naomi (1999) and Halle Berry's(2010) covers.
Beyonce has taken the world over my storm. She's broken so many boundaries for females, women of colour & women of different shapes. What Bey brings is more than her vocals and sensual dance moves. She's creating a global impact and giving girls around the world who can't identify themselves with a standard of beauty a new meaning to what beauty is. what power is. What individuality is. And how being different isn't a bad thing.
