YASSS so excited to see an Aussie female killing the rap game in the states. Never thought I'd see something like thats. My Iggy posts from years ago have been getting so much traffic out of no where. recently. I knew she was gonna make it big. Some say she shouldn't be rapping in an American accent but considering rap origins from the states, the Aussie accent wouldn't work well with the genre in my opinion. Anyway heres some snaps from Her song fancy directed by Director X (one of my favs) paying homage to 90s flick Clueless. Yes its filmed in the same school as the movie....how fancy :P
Love this JayZ printed tee by Melbourne street wear label BALLA.

As the lead up the wedding is approaching Kimmy Kakes has done a fine job of having us want more. Every time she's stepped out In France her style has been on point. Heres all of her looks throughout the week.
Sometimes things go so fast that you don't get a chance to appreciate all your hard work.
Over the last few weeks I have been lucky enough to be selected to be apart of Wish Clothing's blogger challenge, Be featured in ASOS x UNiDAYS website and style an ASOS outfit for under $100,Went to a cool little warehouse show room party where i learnt some informative stuff about blogging and SEO, Moved into a massive warehouse for clothing label i work for - Grandma Funk, been sent a piece from Hip Hop's ASAP Mob exclusive label VLONE & today just got a thank you package from Zoo York for helping them style looks for their opening day for the world's first Zoo York store.
Those sleepless nights and extra hustling seems to have paid off. Its so crazy that I have been blessed with all these amazing opportunities purely due to people loving my blog and style.
Lesson for the day. If you love something never stop working at it. At the end of the day it will all be worth it.
Heres some Insta snaps from the last week :)

So I wanted to start doing posts more posts on Concerts as Melbourne seems to be getting more amazing artists over the last few years. The music and culture of Hip Hop also influences my style so I thought it was important element to share on Everyday Like This. You can see all of my posts on other concerts here.
After a painful day at Uni (I'm in 8 hours straight) there was nothing better than to look forward to seeing a legend on stage for the first time.
If you don't know her you will definitely know the song 'Killing Me Softly'.
I was excited for songs like Ex Factor, Everything is Everything & Doo Wop.
After taking our seats in the classic leather seating and bumping into a few friends in other rows the DJ came on and we knew L Boogie wasn't too far.
Her voice was so soulful and pure i got lost in her amazingness so many times. It didnt matter if you were up close or at the back like me Ms Hill knew how to capture an Audience.
Her rap flow puts so many female rappers to shame. I haven't seen anyone rap so fast without loosing their breath.
I loved the co-ordinating outfits her dancers wore.
As a female i loved that she didn't have to show skin to show that she was talented.
She was dressed in wide leg black pants, white shirt with a cool funky black sweater with lipsticks.
Here is a photo taken my talented friend Michelle from www.michellegracehunder.com Check out her site for more amazing snaps !
How do I describe winter in the city? Well considering this whole shoot was quickly shot in 15 mins due to the pouring rain, you could say Melbourne's colder whether can be your enemy in times of need. I was drenched head to toe but somehow still managed to keep the Wish pants from getting a drop of rain on them. I'm actually surprised you can't see how wet it got in the photos.
When I think of winter I think cold mornings, coffee and the naked trees that once bloomed beautiful colours of reds and oranges. Thats why i thought it would be perfect to shoot at the Royal Exhibition Building which is located just outside Melbourne's CBD. I love how theres so many paths with tall trees which all lead up to the beautiful world heritage listed building.
For the style challenge i choose to style up one of Wish's Retrospect Pants in beige.
I love the fit of Wish pants. I always find trouble as my waist is small but I'm a bit bigger at the hips. The draw string and pocket details are a great addition and add as good distraction from your hips.
Its a very versatile piece so I had a little trouble styling it as it went with so many pieces in my wardrobe. I'm currently loving experimenting with neutrals so i thought I'd match up the pants with a trench coat. To break up the look i decided to add a white cropped top and white and transparent heels.
Had so much fun shooting for Wish & Honda Australia. Who would of thought shooting in the rain could be so much fun !

When I go out to a hip hop clubs I love that you aren't restricted to just wear bodycon dresses and have all your assets out for show like majority of the crod. The culture lets you experiment. I thought I'd finally wear my Tupac dress from H&M Thailand with my Fur coat from H&M Toronto
I love how all the neutrals in both items compliment each other.
Street chic at its finest

Tuesday night Melbourne fashionistas Welcomed Sydney's We Are Quirky' at their showroom launch. The night was filled with dope music, fab clothes and an incredible up stairs studio which i didn't want to leave. We were spoilt with a mexcian food truck and the most amazing expresso Martinis i have ever had...served in take away coffee cups. The company looks after brands such as Evil Twin, Paint It Red, Somedays Lovin & Mink Pink.
Here are some snaps from the night !!
