The Dark Knight

One of  the things i love about living in Melbourne is the wonderful world of graffiti and art hidden within the lane ways of the city. I have done a number of shoots in these different lane ways but this by far is my favorite. As the Hype for the new Batman movie was the talk among almost everyone. There were ones who even went to see the 3am screening at IMAX. I went to watch it the weekend it came out at IMAX with my cousins which was so much fun as we all live so far from each other it was good going there in a group of 10 and catching up. To our surprise as we got our seats a man dressed in a Batman suit came in. At first i thought it was an act but the guy came in to watch the movie just like the rest of us. He even posed for photos as girls in the rows behind us screamed "Batman, Batman" wanting his attention. As i came across this magical piece of art of the late Heath Ledger as the Joker in the city i thought to myself  How cool would it be to do a Batman Themed shoot. After doing a little brainstorming i thought i would incorporate the old batman with blacks and greys. I bought this black cape from an op shop last year and still hadn't found the perfect opportunity to put it in a shoot until now.
RIP to all the people who suffered that tragedy in the cinemas in Colorado. I hope the man behind it gets what he deserves. And Props to Christian Bale for going out of his way to visit the victims of the shootings. Such a nice and noble thing to do.
